Parking options and directions

On the map below the garage is marked in  RED , and our building (SO-44) is marked in  PINK . The Palm Beach Plaza to the northeast in  BLACK.

If you stop a student for walking directions, tell them you are looking for the Social Sciences building or the “UFO” building. It is a diagonal walk NW from the parking garage or SW from the Palm Beach Plaza.

Self-pay parking

Visitors can park at meters around the Palm Beach Plaza or near Garage II. Meters cost $2.00 per hour and can be paid either by downloading the Parkmobile app  https://parkmobile.io  or they can pay with credit card, debit card, or exact paper currency (no change is given).

Please note, when parking at a meter, the temporary one-day parking pass will not work.

Driving directions – see map below

I-95 to Glades Road

Glades East > to SECOND FAU entrance (“East University Drive”)

Follow the Drive north to the four-way stop sign, then turn left.

Parking Garage II will be very obvious. Park there (or any BLUE parking zone elsewhere on campus). The garage is also known as the “Parking Garage 2” or “The Arts Garage” and is located close to the University Theatre and The Living Room Theatre, our on-campus movie theater.
